The best flavored Italian cheese is made in Treviso province. The jury of Italian Cheese Awards 2018 gave the first prize, for the second year in a row, to the goat’s milk cheese with Traminer made by Perenzin Latteria.
The goat’s milk cheese with Traminer, dairy creation of the historical production site located in San Pietro di Feletto, was elected for the second time within the top ten ranking of the best Italian Cheeses, conquering the golden medal in the “refined category”.
This cheese, made with goat’s milk coming from Belluno Dolomites, is drunken with wine marc from Traminer grapes of the Trentino Alto-Adige region, which offers to the paste some aromatic and fruity notes. Such characteristics have been appreciated by the jury and they led this cheese to win the Oscar of the Italian Cheese Awards. During the gala night, Emanuela Perenzin received the prize directly from Oscar Farinetti, patron of EATALY.
